Hey Rhys,
For the most part, they did. We surveyed them early in the week, and all of them had said they had some sort of device. We asked them to bring them in on Thursday (having cleared this with the YMCA during our planning stages). Some of the kids on the day of either were forbidden from texting by their parents (due to the fact they OVER text) or their devices were broken.

Thank you for the congratulations. It was a completely fulfilling experience.

Hey LAMP!
This is an interesting experiment. I'm for opening up texting in schools so teachers can experiment with gathering real-time feedback like this -- with a thoughtful acceptable use policy in place, of course...

Question, did 100% of your kids have a cellphone, smart phone or other type of mobile device?

Congrats on finishing up your camp!
